GUEST ACCESS: Guests will have exclusive and private access to the entire 3-bedroom home, the private backyard, and the full 1+ acre property. Enjoy complete privacy with a private entrance and easy self-check-in via a smart lock. On-site parking and an optional EV charger available.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS: We believe in giving our guests complete privacy to enjoy their retreat. We will not be on the property during your stay. However, we are always available and just a message or phone call away if you need anything at all.
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE: Cooling System: Our home is cooled by an evaporative (swamp) cooler, which pulls in fresh desert air and adds moisture. For it to work effectively, at least one window must be kept slightly open (about 2-3 inches).
Optional Cowboy Tub: To have the cowboy tub (stock tank pool) filled with fresh, clean water for your stay, there is an optional fee of $55. We do not use chemicals in the tub and require advance notice to prepare it for you.
Amenities: An in-unit washer and dryer are available for your use. We also provide a starter amount of soap, shampoo, and lotion for your convenience.
Security: For your security, the property is monitored by exterior security cameras focused on the perimeter and driveway. There are no cameras inside the home or in private outdoor areas like the hot tub.
Optional EV Charging for a one-time fee of $60 for your stay.

Great stay close to Joshua Tree National Park. The house is roomy with a great outdoor setup. We enjoyed the corn hole, propane fire, and the night stars. The house is definitely a bit worn around the edges, but everything worked, and it was quite comfortable for our 3 night stay. There are lots of great extras to entertain groups, although we had to put away some of the more fascinating things to keep our 4 year old from being TOO entertained and breaking things. The host was welcoming and responsive. We had a hiccup at check in and Allen very quickly remedied the situation without argument. We would stay here again.

This place is AWESOME. Super easy to get to and conveniently located just minutes from everything including Joshua Tree National Park, food, the grocery store, etc. The backyard had to be our favorite spot. Comfy shag turf to protect our tootsies while enjoying the hot tub, fire pit, and outside games all while observing nature. The backyard was made for recreating and relaxing! We used the hot tub everyday after hiking and climbing while staring up at the stars. The inside was also awesome. Comfy beds, extra fans, and a cool living room. Pool table, arcade games, and a smart tv. This place has EVERYTHING you need for a great trip. Do yourself a favor and come stay here!!! Oh yeah, and Allen was super communicative and was a pleasure to rent from. We’ll be back!
