Nestled just outside of the quiet town of Fountain, Michigan sits Eagle’s Nest Farm.
With 157 acres, this land is an excellent choice for Nature enthusiasts seeking some peace and quiet in the great outdoors.
The home is located within 30 minutes of the Lake Michigan Harbor Towns of Ludington (south) and Manistee (north), with their beaches, waterfront shops and restaurants. Ludington State Park (ranked as one of the US’s top 5 State parks) and the Manistee National Forest are just Minutes away.
The property is located at the heart of the State’s ORV and Snow mobile trail systems. There is plenty of room to park your toy trailer on the property. There is also plenty of room to enjoy and explore the property on your toys.
Your stay is on the main floor of a spacious three-bedroom, two-bathroom ranch home with an attached two-stall garage. The main floor features a laundry room, making it easy to keep your clothes clean and ready for the next adventure. The Large kitchen with island is great for preparing meals as you enjoy gathering around the table to discuss your days explorations in the spacious dining area surrounded by friends and family or relax in the living room with open views of the homestead. The basement space is not part of the Rental.
The property’s ponds, rolling terrain and varied vegetation provide a great habitat for a wealth of wildlife, including deer, turkey, sand hill cranes, geese, swans, coyote, bobcat, and even an occasional Bear.
At the center of the property is an eagle’s nest spanning 15 feet with two resident eagles keeping a watchful eye on the property and surrounding area.
The large front porch looks over a 20-acre enrolled pollinator field and is the perfect spot to watch for wildlife and take in a quiet sunset, while enjoying the peaceful views of this unique property. At both dawn and dusk, it is not uncommon to see young deer feeding on the apple tree sitting just outside the front door.
There are six elevated blinds, four ground blinds, numerous tree-stands, nature trails, and an assortment of food plots for your use and enjoyment, making it easy for you to explore and observe the local wildlife in their natural habitat.
