This was our second trip to Familienresort Ellmauhof and we were not disappointed. The hotel overlooks the village of Hinterglemm in the Saalbach region, from each window you’re greeted with a vista of sublime peaks, the air is crisp, the energy is peaceful, and you can feel all stresses begin to melt away as soon as you check in. The hotel offers an amazing kids club, with all sorts of activities; pony trekking, crafting, cooking, treasure hunts, etc. Our 4 year old loved every minute of it. He also loved our daily visit to the pool and water slide. The food is varied and delicious, with some mouth watering local delicacies offered some evenings for dinner, in addition the hotel does an amazing breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. For mum and dad there’s a gym, and a varied selection of wellness treatments on offer. There’s also a great bar with an amazing view. There really is something for everyone, even older children and teens. However what we loved most about the hotel is the sense of peacefulness and the relaxing atmosphere that surrounds it. If you are looking for an ultimate break away that fulfills both the needs of the kids and the parents, then you’ve found it with the Familienresort Ellmauhof.
