Welcome to Tiny Islands Resort – Iceland, a serene Nordic-inspired tiny home that brings the cool calm of Icelandic design to the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Thoughtfully styled with clean lines, natural textures, and a soothing palette, this unique retreat feels like a minimalist hideaway straight from the land of fire and ice—perfect for slowing down, reconnecting, and savoring the beauty of your surroundings.
This two-bedroom, one-bath tiny home is part of a small collection of six individually rented tiny homes, offering a peaceful rural setting while still keeping you close to Blanco’s shops, dining, and outdoor attractions. Every inch of the space is intentionally designed to feel cozy, functional, and inviting.
Bedroom one is tucked into a sleeping nook beside the kitchen and beneath the lofted living area. A queen-sized bed dressed in Icelandic-inspired bedding creates a warm and restful place to recharge after a day of exploring. The mattress rests on the floor, enhancing the cabin-like feel, and while the ceiling is low and meant for sleeping rather than standing, a window across from the bed brings in soft natural light and calming views of the outdoors.
The bathroom sits on the opposite side of the kitchen and features a walk-in shower, a modern vessel sink, and sleek contemporary fixtures. The design is simple and spa-like, echoing the clean, functional aesthetic found in Nordic interiors.
Bedroom two is located above the bathroom and accessed by a ladder, adding a touch of adventure to the stay. This loft-style sleeping area features another queen-sized bed on the floor, a window for natural light, and slightly more room than the lower sleeping nook. No outdoor fires are allowed unless there is a designated fire pit and there is not a burn ban in effect.
