The moment you enter the home was delightfully appointed to welcome guests. The home is mostly bedrooms with the upstairs living room offering a bed as well so we hung out in the big kitchen downstairs. No other place in Rockport offers king beds and so many bathrooms.

We loved our stay at the Tuck House. It’s a perfect location to wander around downtown Rockport without having to worry about parking. But you can also navigate to Hammond Castle, as well as Wingershaek Beach within a 20 minute drive. The property is clean, welcoming, and well-appointed. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you Kerin!

This house worked well for our family with seven people of all ages and really enjoyed our first trip to the Rockport/Gloucester area. Hopefully we'll get a chance to return and would highly recommend the area and property.

Home was very nice but the layout was something that had an impact on our stay. Kitchen was small, so for a family, it was a bit challenging to maneuver around when we were all in the room. As far as layout, here are three key things that would've been helpful for us to know before we booked: (1) the living room was upstairs and the stairs were "older" stairs that weren't as deep as traditional stairs. That meant that our elderly parent did not go upstairs to join other family members in the living room. (Also, picture of living room in listing makes it look much bigger than it is.). (2) To get to the kitchen, you have to walk through a bedroom. So, for those of us who were early risers, who weren't in that bedroom, we walked outside the front door, around to the back, to let ourselves in the kitchen each morning. (3) While the two-story deck is nice, you can't access it from the kitchen. On the main level, you access it through a bedroom; on the upper level, you access it through the living room. The house itself was charming and nicely decorated, so no issues there. The owner was responsive and helpful and the people who live next door to the house were kind, generous, and very friendly. Made staying there even better!
