About this apartment rental
Welcome to Fort Myers Beach and Carlos Pointe Resort #336, a premier Resort Community. This condo is beautifully furnished with beach themes, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with gulf-front views as well as views of Lovers Key Bay. This unique corner condo is located at the southernmost tip of tropical Fort Myers Beach and has a wrap-around screened Lanai. The master bedroom and en suite have cream blue decorations with a large king-size bed and walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds as well as a walk-in shower and plenty of storage. The nicely appointed family area has two couches with one being a queen sleeper. Flat-screen TVs in each room allow you to relax any time of the day or night. The Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need from making coffee in the morning to creating dinner in the evening. Updated granite countertops with lots of storage space. A stacked washer and dryer are in the kitchen for your convenience. Appliances are all stainless steel and include refrigerator/freezer and ice maker. Our condo has features such as keyless entry locks, high-speed wireless internet, cable, etc.
The Master and family rooms both have walk-out sliding door entry to your own private extra large wrap-around lanai giving you amazing views at every angle to watch dolphins, boats, people, and sunsets.
There is a wide sandy beach at your doorstep and several miles of white sugar sand beach beyond that. After a short walk to Big Carlos Pass, you will most likely see dolphins daily, and depending on the season of your visit you may see sea turtles or manatees.
Amenities at this resort include a beautiful gulf-front pool with multiple common areas. Common areas include a Rec Room and lobby with relaxing areas where you can meet new friends or relax with old friends. The resort also includes grills for your use pleasure. There is a trolley stop right in front of the building that runs north to Times Square, a wonderful place to visit with shops, boutiques, and restaurants, and then south to Lovers Key State Park and more restaurants.
Close by you will find an abundance of rentals for Kayaks, jet skis, boats, dolphin Key West tours, and sunset cruises around Estero Bay, Lovers Key, Sanibel Island to the Gulf of Mexico. If you intend to visit some of the surrounding attractions of Southwest Florida, this location also provides the choice of exiting the area via the less traffic-congested Bonita Springs rather than the northern route through Fort Myers Beach. RSW International Airport is about a 35 minute drive, and Naples and its fine shopping and restaurants are also within an easy drive.

We had never stayed on the north side of the island before and were pleasantly surprised! The location makes it very easy to walk to where the action and restaurants are and the beach was beautiful.

The overall impression of this property is good however the window blinds in the lounge and both bedrooms let the property down.
The beachside bedroom had broken slates and also one missing slat. This meant that ever time a boat went passed at night the bedroom ceiling lit up with the boat lights and in the morning the sun came streaming in.
We expressed this in an email at the start of the 3 week holiday and we’re advised that Heather from the vacation rentals office would phone, however we did not receive a call.
The only other issue was the toilet seat in the beach side bedroom was badly stained on the under side and worn/chipped on the top.
Having stayed in this apartment block on 3 other occasions we are just disappointed about these 2 things as we paid more for a bigger balcony apartment.

Overall nice location. Did not have to deal with all the traffic of the north end. It needs a little TLC. Many of the vertical blinds were broken or missing. Many of the floor tiles were cracked or damaged. It would have been helpful to have a blow dryer in the unit. A LONG walk to the beach from the condo.

The condo itself was perfect. Very clean and tasteful decor, all the amenities you would want. Be aware, the beach is NOT well maintained. However, if you want to feel like you have the place to yourself and watch dolphins swim 10 feet from shore, then you will love it.
