The apartment is very clean and tidy with excellent facilities the location excellent right close to Town and Sea Front 5-10 mins away .

Really nice and equipped house. Lots of space and has everything u would need. Super close to the beach and the town and shop which was perfect for us with walking. Over all loved our stay and would definitely recommend and stay again.

A few bits were unclean but nothing major. There was a strange smell around the house that we couldn’t place and the tiles at the kitchen entrance were quite broken and wobbly and could do with being fixed as I hurt my foot on them . Nothing major that would put me off coming again tho

The house was very well equipped, plenty of cutlery, plates, cups, cooking stuff, even down to having scales and baking things which were really appreciated. It was a great size and plenty of room for us (3 adults). The bathrooms were the best thing about the house, the main one looked newly refurbished and was very nice. Two rooms have en suite showers. Water pressure was so-so. The location was great, walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Directions on how to enter the house were good, keybox was convenient and the owner sounded friendly enough, provided details on where to park for free (15min walk away) when asked. You can stop to unload outside the house but can't leave your car there without a permit.

Unfortunately most things in the kitchen were dirty. We had to wash all the plates and cups before we could use them, the microwave and oven were dirty, the cupboard doors had smears on them. Lots of things had grease on them. One of the chairs arms was broken and felt quite flimsy to sit in. There's no big sofa just 3 armchairs/single chairs. The bedrooms were dusty, spiders in cobwebs in the living room. Games provided had missing bits and not well looked after. Beds had to be swept as there were gritty bits in some, so we wondered if the bedding was fresh. Bedding was very low quality but adequate. Some of the beds very soft to sleep on which wasn't great. It was like an old student house or HMO. Quite grotty and rough around the edges (paint chipping etc) the same as the area it's in. The advert states free parking but it's not, the whole area is paid or residents permits or 2hr stays. You have to walk 15min uphill for free parking which is limited and busy, which was fine for us but not great if you have mobility issues etc. Whilst the house is located brilliantly for town, the area isn't the best. On the first evening someone spent a while banging loudly on the door and rattling the letterbox, which we (as 3 females) found quite scary and intimidating. We contacted the owner to ask for advice and were told to call the police. They didn't follow up to see what had happened or see if we were OK. On the second evening the speaker/Alexa type device made an announcement of a man saying 'dinner time". We had just sat down to eat takeaway pizzas at the time so we felt uneasy like we were being watched. It was probably a set alarm type thing but still, it was unnerving.
