Gallows Hill Guest House

The property is so perfect. Everything was so clean and plenty of necessities. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were hotel quality. You won’t be disappointed if you book with them. If I come back to Salem. This is most definitely the place I’ll stay

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like

Accommodation had everything you could ever need .Hosts were extremely helpful.

Only minor negative was that the unit was about 25 min walk from downtown but up a steep hill.This wasn’t a real problem for us,but may be for others.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and close to Salem. It was in a quiet neighborhood; so we were able to relax while in the apartment.

The stairs leading up to the apartment were steep and narrow. I would not recommend to anyone with mobility issues. The toilet was small; so anyone who is of large stature may have a difficult time using the toilet. We would have liked to see more information about things to do in area. I would also suggest a journal that guests can leave notes for subsequent guests.

The location is located a little over a mile to Salem city center. We wanted something a little quieter so this was perfect. We walked to the bus stop and the commuter rail which we used to visit Boston. The home is very clean and decorated perfectly. The beds, pillows, bedding were all so comfortable. It had everything we needed for our week long stay. Our hosts were always available to answer questions we had. The porch was a great place for us to relax after a long day of exploring. We would definitely stay here again and if you don’t stay here you are missing out on a quaint and quiet place.
