Sweet villa santa monica

Very clean, well decorated, great location. Nice shower! Private off-street driveway parking. Big modern kitchen with lots of cabinets and drawers for storage — the kitchen was my favorite! The property was quiet and peaceful. On site laundry was nice, but no detergent provided. Great central air conditioning! Ceiling fans in bedrooms were a plus.

Very hard beds. Lack of furniture in bedrooms with no place to put clothes — no dressers or drawers, only contained a bed and 1-2 small cheap IKEA nightstands — no hangers in the closets. Lack of kitchen utensils (only 1 tablespoon, 3 plates, and 3 bowls for an entire house that sleeps 6 people). Cheap furniture throughout the house that seemed makeshift from IKEA, harsh white LED lighting in master bedroom. The shower had good pressure but the hot water runs out quickly. Oddly, the kitchen sink has very low water pressure for doing dishes (there is no dishwasher). On-site laundry facilities were great but no detergent was provided. Just very bare and basic without extra care placed to provide little comforts and amenities — like washcloths for the shower, extra toilet paper, cleaning products, stuff like that would’ve been nice. The whole place seemed kind of sterile and last minute, master bedroom felt like staying in a hospital — bare walls, no furniture, harsh white lighting. This place was pleasant and clean but definitely needs more love put into it! And please get some decent furniture!
