About this house rental
Fully renovated 5 bedroom (9 total beds), 3 full bathroom home situated on 12 private wooded acres that can comfortably sleep 16+. Thoughtfully designed with wood accents throughout, this unique home provides a modern cabin-like feel. Perfect for relaxation, and a respite from the hustle and bustle, but without giving up the amenities. The fully stocked kitchen features a cooktop, two ovens, microwave, and several small appliances. Adjacent to the kitchen you'll find a large dining table with seating for up to 12. Visit together and/or watch TV with your group in either the large great room with plenty of seats and lots of natural lighting, or in the newly finished basement. The basement boasts a pool table, dart board, shuffle board, and custom built arcade featuring thousands of preloaded games. The basement kitchen provides a second refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Step back in time while checking out the DVD library, with Blu-ray DVD players throughout the house.
The outdoor space includes a large concrete patio with gas grill, an egg smoker, corn hole, a dining table, and a solo stove. There are trails throughout the woods for nature walks and exploring. There is no shortage of wildlife including deer, a diverse bird population(even bald eagles!) turkey, and squirrel galore. Coshocton County consistently has the highest deer harvests and also boasts large public hunting areas. Ask about permission to hunt the property!
The home sits back far from the road and there is ample onsite parking, however a 4 wheel drive vehicle is necessary in inclement weather (mostly just heavy snowfall).
The home is close to Historic Roscoe Village, Downtown Coshocton, Mount Vernon (35 min), Honey Run Highlands Park, Woodbury Wildlife Area (public hunting/fishing 20 min), Wooly Pig Brewery, Amish Shopping, and much more! Whether you're here to visit The House of Jacob, a wedding at Hidden Spring Farm, the annual Apple Butter Stirrin' festival, or just for an off grid getaway, this home will deliver!
