This peaceful, rural, and private cottage sits along Salt Creek, surrounded by the beauty of Oregon's picturesque farmland. Ideally located, you'll be less than 50 miles from several popular coastal towns and just a short drive from Downtown Dallas, where charming shops and local dining await.

Step inside and feel instantly at ease in the open living area, featuring comfortable seating, a large TV, and a beautiful grand piano. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped and sure to delight the cook in your group, complete with a charming center island perfect for gathering. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee on the front porch while keeping an eye out for wildlife-early morning deer sightings are common, and wild turkeys occasionally roam the property.
The primary bedroom offers a serene retreat with tasteful décor, generous storage, and a spacious en suite bathroom. Unwind each day in the impressive walk-in shower, which is accessed through the primary bedroom. The second bedroom is equally inviting, styled with a warm color palette and high-quality linens. A convenient powder room is located just beside this bedroom.
Additional amenities include a private washer and dryer and a dedicated workspace for those who need to stay connected. For families traveling with little ones, a high chair and Pack 'n Play are provided.
If your group is larger than four, there is a second listing on the property named The HomeSted Retreat which sleeps 7. Both properties may be booked concurrently, if available, for a total of 11 people.

It is a lovely little house and nicely furnished. Could use more flatware. Quiet and private. Only downside was the musty smell in the corner (pan) cupboard in the kitchen, and under the vanity in the large bathroom. Received a code to unlock the door from VACASA that didn't work, but someone answered over the intercom when I pushed the button and I got the correct code.

Teresa was very accomodating. Some difference in the VRBO listing vs. Vacasa. Portable A/C in the master. Cools down in the evenings. VERY clean and comfortable.

My husband had to work in Salem, so we booked a little getaway and it was such a great time! 20minute drive to Salem and 10 minute drive to Dallas, owners were very accommodating and attentive! The property was so beautiful, quiet and very kid friendly. Easy check in and check out with clear instructions, if we ever come back to the area I would book again!
