serene hotel

Awesome little pocket of Chiang Mai on the river which I hadn't seen before a little out of the main centre. Still close enough to walk to the main areas.

It annoys me when you have to leave a deposit, 1,000THB in this case, and it has to be cash only – which I didn't have, but that's my fault. Anyway, not so big an issue except I had to check out around 7am and no staff were on reception, so it took quite some time and many frustrating to get my money credited back to my Thai bank account messages (Booking.com makes it very hard to contact the hotel through customer service – the hotel had no Facebook/socials/email address that I could find). Anyway, all was resolved eventually.

This location is awesome! It’s just by the river and it was pretty quiet. You can order food and drinks directly from the bar. The location is a bit out and you will need grab or bolt for it to get the touristy spots. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

The main complaint is the front side of the room (container) has frosted glass and there are a lot of lights coming thru at night. There’s some curtains but they are not thick, blacked out ones. If they can add this, this would be perfect! Also need more place to hang clothes and maybe shelf to put your stuffs?

Ottima atmosfera e interessante design con container arredati in stile industriale, vista sul fiume, non troppo turistico.

Niente birra dopo le 22, zanzare e posizione non comoda anche se si sa prima di arrivare. Grossi rami secchi spezzati in equilibrio precario come spade di Damocle proprio sopra la veranda 😅

The hotel is located on the riverbank in the northwest of Chiang Mai's old city, and the scenery is quite nice. Transportation was relatively convenient because I rented a motorbike.

I stayed at the hotel for four nights, and the staff were very friendly. Because the room didn't have a safe, I kept my cash and passport in a backpack next to the bedside table. I knew there was 10,000 baht and 300 pounds in the bag, but when I was about to check out for Bangkok, I discovered one 50-pound note was missing. This greatly diminished my impression of the honesty and hospitality of the Thai people. Therefore, I still recommend that you I stayed at the hotel for four nights, and the staff were very friendly. But you have to take good care of your money when travel keep it in a safe or carry it with you at all times. The only consolation was that the thief didn't take all the cash.
