Loft moderno e silenzioso a Trastevere

Outstanding location - Trastevere, close to all the sights, bars, restaurants! Comfy enough for a short stay Fan ok (no AC but fan works fine) Kitchen looks nice but I never used it

It’s NOT a loft - it’s a basement Moldy smell Window doesn’t open in the room

The apartment is in a great location, close to lovely bars and restaurants. Apart from the edge of the shower base the apartment was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped with a kettle, a toaster and a coffee machine. The heating worked very well and it was as cosy and warm as I wanted. I was able to control the temperature myself which was great.

I always choose self check-in but leading up to this stay I was constantly getting automated messages telling me I needed to check-in online even after I had already done it. The day before my arrival I got a more personalised message to say I hadn’t checked in. Fortunately I double checked my bank account and the city tax had definitely been taken and I thankfully had a screenshot of my check-in confirmation. I would highly recommend taking a screenshot once your check-in has been completed. This apartment is not a loft as described in the title but actually a basement apartment. From the ground floor it’s actually downstairs rather than at the top of the building. I was a little unlucky on my first night as when I returned from a walk I was unable to access the building as the buzzer to open door did not work. Some residents let me in and once I’d informed the agents I was told that I could phone them for access. The next day it all worked fine. I found contacting the agents OK most of the time but if I asked a question via message it was often not answered. I personally found the pillows uncomfortable but that’s obviously a personal thing. The bed also doesn’t have a headboard. The WIFI worked but watching downloads could be slow and calls were distorted at times.
