They welcome you with a cold water bottle and a smile. Air conditioning worked well. Feels safe because older man- possibly owner- is there. Clean.

Hard hard bed. No sink to be found. Where to spit my tooth paste mouth foam? One toilet/bathroom for 3 hostal rooms, so if it's fully booked, 36 people are sharing one shower. The sign threatens to charge 500 for a lost key to a locker you didn't choose to use. Wifi password not posted. No curtains for privacy. Occassional / often street noise because it's on a bigger road leading to other parts of island. No real ´living room´to hang in.

Keng the owner of Dee-mak is the most lovely man ever and him and his family who run the hostel make you feel so welcome and will go above and beyond to help you. It is a great value for money and in a good location right near 7-11 and a lot of things in Thong sala.

Nous sommes restés 3 nuits. En rentrant le troisième jour, nous avons constaté que mon lit avait été défait alors que j’avais encore une nuit prévue et que mes affaires personnelles étaient dessus. Le personnel s’est trompé de lit. J’ai dû chercher mes affaires, et on m’a d’abord dit que je les avais perdues. Finalement, il s’est avéré qu’elles avaient été récupérées avec les draps lors du ménage. Situation peu professionnelle et mal gérée.
