Modern Fishing Lodge 8ppl

The place had a feeling of home. Being senior citizens with disabilities, not having to climb stairs was a big plus for me and my quests. The country "setting" was very nice. The lodge wasn't in town, but close enough to get to where we wanted to go in just a few minutes.

For one, there was a dog barking most of the time in the room next to us and there was one lady walking around the parking lot smoking cigarettes and walking a dog (not the same dog that was barking), and her dog would shit on the grass or right in the parking lot and she would leave it there, which I almost stepped in a couple of times. When I rented the "lodge", I understood that there was NO smoking or pets allowed. There seemed to be permanent quests living there so maybe those rules only pertained to the room we were staying in, but the cigarette smoke, dog barking and dog shit in the parking lot was a big annoyance...

It’s a good location. Nicely updated

That the storm windows on the balcony would not open for fresh air.

Great location - perfect size - clean

We had no issues

We had everything we needed to make a very comfortable stay. Beds were comfortable and the recliner in the livingroom was exceptionally comfortable.

The very first thing you see when you open the door is the VERY DIRTY stains on the carpet in the livingroom. Even when we would get out of the shower, the bottoms of our feet or socks were black from the dirty carpet. The carpet needs replaced or at the very least, cleaned.
