2BR Boutique Apartment Only Mins to Suncorp Stadium & BNE city

The location was excellent being close to many public transport options. The facilities in the building eg the rooftop pool were lovely although no pool towels provided. The aircon in the unit was quick and efficient. The apartment was modern. The apartment was well priced but with the issues we had below there are many other similarly priced options that I would recommend booking or would book next time.

The check in was awful. We arrived at the key safe location which was on a bike rack on a pavement, in the dark. Despite finding the correct key safe and inputting the correct code several times it refused to open. We rang the number provided and were told this had been a problem before and to hit the key safe. When it wouldn’t open we’d were told to hit it harder! We explained we had nothing to hit it with. 45 mins after arrival and after using a portable road sign to hit the key lock we finally got it to open and we got the key. This was extremely frustrating and unacceptable as there were people sitting above at a row of eateries enjoying a meal and a drink. If this had been a problem before the key safe should have been replaced and we should not have had to hit a key safe with a road sign to access the key!!! Next the map provided on the check in instructions is completely wrong so you need to use Google maps to find the apartment block. It’s a 5 min walk not a 1 Min walk from the key lock location which may be an issue if you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage. The communication before arrival was poor as they didn’t answer specific questions, it seemed just rote information provided. A second key wouldn’t be provided without a $55 delivery fee and $200 security deposit. This meant we all had to co-ordinate schedules to leave and return to the apartment together at all times as we couldn’t get up to the pool or anywhere without the key. This made our stay difficult. The coffee table was so large it took up most of the floor space in the lounge area which made it difficult to move around. The quality of the pillows were poor and they were very flat. The quality of the tea and coffee provided was poor compared to those advertised although after the check in problems this was a minimal issue All in all I wouldn’t book this apartment again
