About this house rental

Stay in a newly restored 19th-century Greek Revival church in the high peaks of the Northern Catskills.

Just 20 min to skiing at Windham Mountain!

Potter Mountain House offers panoramic views from nearly every room with soaring ceilings, original wood beams, gas fireplace, chefs kitchen, office, a walk-in wine room and library within the steeple and four serene bedrooms and spa-like bathrooms.

The church portion of the home was originally built in 1837 in Manorkill, NY and served its local community for over a century. In the late 1990s the church and steeple were meticulously dismantled and reassembled, beam-by-beam, in its current location and the annex and garage portions were also added.

The house remained unfinished and unoccupied until 2023 when local design-build firm ICDT Studio began a multi-year gut renovation and a total redesign which was completed Summer 2025.

Beyond the house, landscaped perennial gardens, terraces with seasonal potted plants and a fire pit with seating invite you outdoors with hiking trails, waterfalls, and charming towns nearby.

Explore 37 acres of forest and open fields that span up to the ridge line behind the house.

• Inquire about private chef availability upon booking!
