About this villa rental
A note from a recent guest
"This property has everything you could dream of and more! Plus a bathroom in every bedroom! We loved hanging out by the pool and playing pickleball during our stay." - Brynn, June 2026 (5.0★)
THE ESTATE
Cape May Reserve is a 200-year-old historic estate on 1.3 private acres, just a few minutes from the beach. The property has two separate buildings, the Main House and a detached Cottage, that together sleep up to 14 guests across 5 bedrooms, each with its own private ensuite bathroom. No sharing, no waiting. Two full kitchens, one per building.
Self check-in via smart lock, so you arrive on your own schedule. Parking for up to 6 cars in the main driveway.
THE MAIN HOUSE (4 bedrooms)
The Main House has two distinct wings. The historic wing (the original ~1825 structure) holds two King bedrooms, the living room, and the dining room. Original heart pine hardwood floors run throughout. One King bedroom features original exposed wooden beams and the preserved servant staircase, enclosed behind clear plexiglass panels as a small living-history detail. The other has a romantic clawfoot tub.
The newer wing houses the expansive 500 sq ft master suite with its own private balcony, a Queen bedroom on the first floor with a walk-in shower, and a modern full kitchen. All four bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms.
Downstairs, gather in the living room around the 85" Smart TV, or cook together in the fully equipped kitchen.
THE COTTAGE (1 bedroom)
Steps away from the Main House, the detached cottage is a home away from home in its own right. Private entrance, King bedroom with ensuite bath, full kitchen, foosball table, and 65" Smart TV. A Queen sofa bed in the living room brings the cottage to a comfortable 2 to 4 sleepers. Ideal for grandparents who want their own space, teens who like their independence, or an extra couple.
THE POOL
The private 700 sq ft pool is fully fenced, with an integrated sun deck, a pergola for shade, and lounge furniture. Pool floats and noodles are stocked on-site. Open seasonally June through September, 8 AM to 9 PM. Whether it's a lazy afternoon float or a sunset swim after a beach day, this is where a lot of our guests spend the most time.
"The pool was the best! We had so much fun. We'd def come back." — Sara, July 2026 (5.0★)
OUTDOOR LIVING
Beyond the pool, the outdoor space stretches across 1.3 acres. A string-lit patio, a wood-burning fire pit for s'mores and stargazing, a cornhole set, and a full-size asphalt pickleball court (paddles, balls, and net all provided) round out the yard. There's also a gas BBQ grill.
The yard is naturally private. It's partially fenced on the street side with mature treelines providing over 100 feet of buffer on the neighboring sides.
(Firewood for the fire pit is available at Acme or Wawa nearby.)
THE BEACH
Multiple Cape May beaches are 5 to 10 minutes by car. Wildwood beaches are about 15. We've got you covered on the essentials: 10 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, a pull cart, boogie boards, sand toys, a volleyball, a football, and 10 Cape May beach tags. (Beach tags need to be returned at checkout.)
RAINY DAY? NO PROBLEM
The 85" and 65" Smart TVs make movie marathons easy. The foosball table keeps things competitive, and the pickleball court is always there if the sun comes back out. Downtown Cape May's shops, restaurants, and Victorian architecture are 5 to 10 minutes away by car. Cape May is one of the most charming small towns on the East Coast, rain or shine.
A NOTE FROM A MULTI-GEN GROUP
"Our group of 9, multigenerational family of all ages, had one of the best vacations on the books. We enjoyed the large and well-stocked kitchen, the outdoor grill to cook meals, watched World Cup matches in the comfortable gathering spaces, and had tons of fun in the gorgeous pool. There's also a peaceful walking path tucked away where you can have a nice jog, walk, or bike ride to the Cold Spring museum and the brewery." — Tara, July 2026 (5.0★)

Cape May shines in every season. Summer (June to September) is prime beach and pool time. September brings the Food & Wine Festival. October is Victorian Weekend, and it's peak season for the town's world-renowned fall bird migration. November and December turn into Cape May Christmas, when the Victorian houses light up. May and June host the Cape May Music Festival. Whenever you visit, there's something on.

A NOTE FROM YOUR HOST
Cape May has been my escape for years. I fell in love with the way this town blends colonial elegance with coastal ease, and when I found this 200-year-old estate on Seashore Road, I saw a chance to create something special. My goal is to give families and groups the kind of place where you can genuinely spread out, reconnect, and celebrate together.
I'm just a message away for anything you need before or during your stay. Looking forward to hosting your group.
Warmly,
Swati
