About this house rental
Welcome to the Lorelei, A lovely 6 bedroom, 6 and 1/2 Bath Victorian located in the historic district of Cape May. Just three blocks to the beautiful beaches and just 1 and a half blocks to the center of town, (where there are plenty of restaurants, shopping and theater) you will LOVE the location.
We are newly renovated with new wood floors and tile floors on the ground level, New tile floors in every bathroom, refinished original wooden floors In living room. And dining room,
new carpeting in 2018 in third floor bedrooms and both upstairs hallways and staircases. Newly painted bathrooms.
New stovetop and oven in 2018.
The whole exterior of the home has been repainted in 2018 in “mermaid colors” Beautiful garden, patio, fencing and spectacular wraparound porch, The perfect vantage point for people watching and for the Christmas parade!
2019, Additional cabinet installed in the kitchen with all new quartz countertops. Updated chalk painted cabinets and new glass tile backsplash. (new kitchen photo not up yet)
Kitchen has Traditional toaster, toaster oven, traditional coffee maker, Keurig coffee pod system, blender, food processor, handmixer, crockpot and new for 2019 Instant pot. Cook up a storm!
All bedrooms with its own flat screen TV and our den has a 50 inch wall hung flat screen and BLU-ray DVD player plus a collection of DVDs for your use.
Our living room also has a flat screen.
House is fully air conditioned and heated and has Wi-Fi throughout. There is a full wraparound porch for enjoying the sights. There is a private fenced in Paver patio for barbecuing and seating for outdoor dining. Washer/Dryer on premises along with all modern amenities. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.. (Most en suite,) Plenty of off street parking make this a great stay. A Beach Box is available for all our guests right at the beach. No need to carry back and forth your chairs, etc. Keep everything secured right at the beach! Perfect house for extended families, reunions or corporate events. Great escape for girls week away or guys golf outing. Lots of privacy for all. Come and make your own Cape May memories at this lovely vacation home.

Suggestion would be to turn in air conditioning in advance of check in in the warmer months.

A group of 10 of us stayed for the week, and found the house to have plenty of space to convene and spread out as we liked. Check in was easy, just parked and got the code. Linens were waiting for us on the porch when we got there (rented separately). We went out to eat or got takeout most of the nights, but all the appliances were in good working order, and we were able to cook a couple of the nights without issue. Beach box was super helpful and made the walk to and from the beach very easy. Would recommend for anyone with a larger vacation group!

Beautiful Victorian styled house, at great location. House exterior is colorful and ornate, matching the charm of surrounding town. On front porch every evening. Walking distance to beach, the mall, mini-golf, various shops, grocery store, restaurants and ice-cream. We only used vehicles twice; First for trip to Cape May Zoo and to Sunset Beach one evening. Lori (owner) is down-to earth, quick to respond, honest and all-around a pleasure to interact with. Beach box to store some chairs/ umbrellas. I believe each bedroom had its own bath, which was nice. Each bedroom had its own mini split (AC), which all us guys appreciated (extra blankets in closets for the ladies). Off-street parking for 4-5 cars. 15 in our group; 9 adults and 6 children. We moved some knick-knacks up to higher shelves, as we had lots of curious little hands. Highly recommended!

This place is awesome, there were 15 of us and still plenty of room. It's close to everything too.This is really a nice house. Definitely will come back here everytime we go to Cape May.
