Poppy Cottage offers a charming countryside escape on the outskirts of Aylesbeare, Devon. Nestled within a small collection of six lovely cottages, it benefits from a spacious communal car park and provides an inviting haven for families or groups of friends looking to unwind in peaceful rural surroundings.



Inside, an open-plan living area with underfloor heating and exposed beams welcomes you in. After a day exploring, settle on the seating to watch the Smart TV or gather at the dining table for six. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee maker, giving you everything needed for a self-catering stay. A cloakroom with a basin and WC completes the ground floor.



For extra entertainment, a shared external games room with a snooker table and table football is available to enjoy.



Upstairs, Poppy Cottage offers two bedrooms. The first is a double room with an en-suite bathroom featuring a bath with a shower over. The second is an adult sized triple bunk room, ideal for children or a small family, with a double bed below and a single above. This room is served by a separate shower room with a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin and WC.



Outside, the enclosed rear patio provides a private outdoor area with furniture and a barbecue, making it a good spot for alfresco dining or simply spending time in the fresh air.



The external games room is shared with the five neighboring cottages and includes a pool table, foosball table, and a full-size table tennis table.

Aylesbeare sits within easy reach of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, providing walking routes, nature reserves and scenic viewpoints. Nearby towns such as Ottery St Mary and Sidmouth offer shops, cafés, beaches and family-friendly attractions, while Exeter is only a short drive away for cultural sites, restaurants and historic landmarks.
