In a beautiful quiet rural area, this home's location is perfect for beach days or exploring the area's abundant natural beauty. But if you'd like to sample the scene in town, take an eight-mile drive southeast to Tillamook, where you'll find shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
This one-level home's classic interior (which is a little over 2,000 square feet) is both cozy and familiar. Kick off your shoes and gather for some group entertainment in front of the wall-mounted TV in the living area. Flip through cable channels to find a favorite show, or pop in a DVD for an evening movie together. Between the generous sectional couch and two recliner chairs, there's plenty of seating for everyone. But TV isn't your only entertainment option - you'll also find board and card games, plus a small library of books and a CD player.
When the weather is good, head outside to play catch or toss horseshoes in the large, half-acre yard spread out over three lots. You could also pour a favorite beverage and sit on the large wooden deck, or enjoy a summer barbecue using the gas grill.

everything beyond the kitchen was fine, and having a totally empty fridge and freezer is always desirable, so we are thankful for that.The deficiencies mainly lie in the kitchen: a lack of dishtowels; no sharp knives, and no bread knife [an 8" or 10" French knife for all other cutting would be nice]; dishes, bowls, glasses, and cups were all organized in the upper cabinets, but the lower cabinets and drawers were a mishmash of items that need organizing; no trash bags were available; one drawer should contain the equivalent of Saran wrap, tin foil, and parchment paper; the sink drain covers do not fit tightly to hold water. Light switches don't work in the laundry room, or outside the laundry room. A 3-ring binder containing instructions on various issues such as recycling, TV, internet, etc would be nice, as well as a phone number that connects to a live human being [the Vacasa one didn't work]. The internet didn't work most of the time. Firewood needs to contain smaller pieces and newspaper for kindling before the larger pieces can be ignited.

This home is ideally located close to the beach. The amenities are more than adequate. My only complaint is that the sheets in the master bedroom were scratchy and rough. Really? Softer sheets would certainly be appreciated.
