Scenically set in the gorgeous countryside of Southern Illinois, this Blue Line Resort cabin offers a chance to slow down and soak up your surroundings. Share the road with horse-drawn carriages as you taste your way down the Shawnee Wine Trail (three miles), visit loved ones at Southern Illinois University (five miles), and hike Little Grand Canyon (seven miles) or one of the many other trails close by.

Blue Line Resort is a lovely cabin community located about four miles south of downtown Murphysboro. The grounds are a delight to return to each afternoon, offering a small pond, a dock with built-in benches where you can drop a fishing line, a gazebo with a swing, and a firepit where you can gather for stories and stargazing each evening.
Greet each day on your covered front porch, where you can sip your first cup of coffee, breathe in the crisp morning air, and admire the view of the pond. Back inside, you'll have everything you need to prepare breakfast in the kitchenette, including a fridge/freezer, a microwave, an air fryer, and double hot plates.
This cabin is charmingly decorated in a patriotic theme, with Americana adorning the walls, windows, and beds. Spend your evenings streaming movies on the Smart TVs in the living room and bedroom (with your own accounts), playing cards at the windowside dining table, and using the complimentary WiFi to plan tomorrow's excursions.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The location was excellent—quiet, peaceful, and set far enough away from town to avoid traffic, but still close enough to get anywhere quickly. The outdoor space was a big plus, especially for our dogs, who had plenty of room to roam. The beds were also very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. The only downside was the cleanliness. The property was noticeably dusty, and the inside of the refrigerator could have been cleaned more thoroughly. With a bit more attention to cleaning, this would be an outstanding place to stay.
