How about a vacation to Rockaway Beach? This oceanfront home boasts ocean views, a dog-friendly attitude, and entertainment for up to 10 guests to have a great time!
Located right by Twin Rocks State Park just south of the heart of town, you'll have beach access an easy walk away and all the conveniences you could want with a short drive.
The house has a comfortable atmosphere where everyone will feel at home right away. A living area offers a variety of furniture, an ocean view out the windows, reading lamps, a wood stove for warmth, and a flatscreen TV with a Blu-ray/DVD player (cable and WiFi included).
Across the room is a full kitchen, equipped with everything you need for cooking, seats for four at the breakfast bar, and a dining table that seats six. Outside is a deck with a charcoal grill, three patio tables, and enough chairs for everyone to eat while admiring the ocean view. A patio down below has a picnic table, as well.
A second kitchen on the ground level has all the essentials plus a dishwasher, mixer, blender, coffeemaker, and waffle iron. Three can fit at a table for tea or cards, and a nearby private washer/dryer will take care of laundry.
Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms allow up to 10 guests to stay here comfortably. Two rooms upstairs each have a queen bed while the room downstairs offers both a queen bed and a twin. More guests will find space in the den, which features a twin-over-full bunk bed, as well as a flatscreen TV, and a cozy wood stove. The garage nearby has a full-size Ping-Pong table.
Feel free to bring your furry friends along to the beach, because this house is dog-friendly (please note a two-dog limit and a small, nightly pet fee).
This house is perfect for a couple of families, a group of friends, or one large family - days on the beach playing games and sunset strolls are easy when the sand is right there! You might spend the day on Lake Lytle paddling around in a kayak, or make a trip to the Tillamook Cheese Factory one day for a tour and ice cream.

The place is dated but compared to what you get out of this location it is totally worth it! My bestie, our kids and the pup all had an amazing weekend getaway over Veterans weekend. The space was absolutely perfect. It was clean and had every amenity we could possibly need. Fully stocked kitchen and appliances for cooking our own meals and doing laundry. The beach access and privacy is unbeatable! My only suggestion to the homeowner would be to update the kitchen faucet and shower fixtures as they gotta be circa 1980 and don’t work great. We will definitely be back! Kids are already asking for this to be an annual tradition.

The entire house was exceptionally clean. The only thing really needing attention is the downstairs bathroom toilet seat is cracked and needs to be replaced. A few trivets for hit items would be helpful as well. Otherwise, this was a perfect house for our family for the weelwnd, and friends who came visit for the day. The view is great. There is a small stream, knee high, to cross if you use the path at the end of Strand St, but you can walk further north on Pacific St and get to the beach without wading.

Gorgous views. Stocked kitchen. Lots of space. Enjoyed the pingpong table.very clean. Appreciate that dog is welcome. Drip coffee maker. Upper bunk felt too wobbly for teens. They opted for couch.

The house was great. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean with fresh sheets and towels. The living area had plenty of seating. The kitchen was a little “tired” but it had everything we needed. The entry without carpet was very useful , as were the washer and dryer. We used the hose outside several times a day on the dog and kids. The view from the living room and deck was lovely. The location was perfect for walking to the beach with little kids. It was just a few minutes drive to “downtown” Rockaway Beach. Cons: steep stairs to pack all the food supplies, suitcases etc. to the upper level. Some of the games had missing pieces.
