Stay at Buffalo Drift—a fully furnished destination trailer just steps from Badlands National Park. Located at Badlands RV and Cabins, we’re a proud Veteran & Family-Owned business offering this scenic Cozy cabin. Wake up to open skies, wildlife views, and unforgettable sunsets. Whether for one night or many, we’re here to make your stay comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. Adventure starts here—and we’d be honored to host you.
This destination park cabin offers a completely furnished getaway. It features 1 private bedroom with a super comfortable queen bed, one extra large loft featuring a queen and toddler twin, a second smaller loft with a cozy twin above the porch, and a pull out couch.
The kitchen is fully stocked for your gathering needs, including a small dishwasher to clean up.
The living room has a hide-a-bed couch, large flat screen tv, and a two place table or work station.
All access to include the park like lot.
We would love to meet you all, but also respect your privacy. We will take the lead from you, our guests, and come or go as needed or you would like. Best way to reach us is through messages, but we also will respond to a phone call.
The twin bed loft has pretty steep stairs, vertical, so if you are planning on using it as a sleeping accommodation, please note that.
The queen bed loft is an easy access with normal like stairs and the pull out couch is comfortable and big enough for 2.
There are currently 4 of these neat and unique tiny homes on site, but all are well separated for privacy, but close enough to say hi to neighbors and hopefully meet a new friend.

My sister and I recently spent 7 nights in the Buffalo Drift tiny home (camper) and we loved it! The camper was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It's located only a couple miles from the entrance to Badlands National Park. We got to do so many things: explored and hiked through the Badlands, went to Mount Rushmore, the Chief Crazy Horse Monument, and the city of Deadwood and Mt. Moriah Cemetery where Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane are buried. We even drove over to Wyoming to view and hike around the Devil's Tower Monument. We also visited Wall Drug Store in Wall, SD and explored a lot of the local Native American and Old West history. The list goes on but I think one of the best things was catching the sunset from different spots within the Badlands each night. So beautiful! There were so many things to do within a 3 hour drive of this location. The town of Interior is very small and quiet. There's a bar/restaurant, Wagon Wheel Bar, within walking distance of the camper that serves great burgers. The owners, Thomas and Bob were very nice and had great communication with us. I highly recommend this place and would totally stay again!
