Bakers Close - Elie

I liked the location, very central. Handy for the shops, bakery on the corner and a short walk to the beach. The property was very nice, I liked the open plan between the lounge, dining area and kitchen. The outside seating area was great to sit and relax.

Main fridge not switched off so thought it was working ,no notice to say otherwise ....

The location was amazing, such a lovely spot, really.cloae to the beach and the pub. It was private and quirky, and the outdoor space was great. Good quality equipment in the flat and well.stocked with teas and coffee and shampoo and conditioner. Great WiFi and great coms with the owner.

The best layout in the kids room was a bit odd, but it didn't spoil our stay and the kids thought it was funny. Don't let it it put you off, it's a lovely place to stay

Bakers Close has a cottage feel about it rather than a ground floor flat. Modern interior with a few quirky touches. Nice bathroom with a good shower. Lovely kitchen which is well equipped. Plus there’s an added bonus of a small outdoor courtyard area albeit not private.

The alleyway entrance needs some attention as it’s quite dirty and uninviting. The twin bedroom was unusable due to a water leak from flat above and there was lots of black mould on the ceiling, there was also a dog urine soaked faux sheepskin rug left in this room too. I had to phone the management company to report this who took the rug away and cleaned the ceiling with bleach! We couldn’t breathe for the fumes and had to open all the windows and sit outside for over an hour in the cold until it subsided. Also, it can be noisy when there’s people in the flat above.
