Stonesthrow - Elie

The property was beautifully clean and very spacious. Big rooms with everything we needed. Plenty of pots, pans and cutlery. Amazing view of the sea from the living room and from 2 of the bedrooms. Only 2 minutes walk to beautiful Elie beach.

Maintenance response was very good for cooker and bathroom door lock issue

Some of the beds had heavy winter duvets. Could do with lighter togs in the summer. Had issues with the cooker and my daughter got stuck in the ensuite bathroom. They were great getting people out to fix these issues but the cooker was temperamental and needs replacing (3 visits by maintenance staff) as only had 2 of the 4 hobs working and no use of the oven.

Location. Ease of parking. Good size rooms. Two bathrooms. Nice little space at the back to sit out.

Gas cooker was fiddly. Only one socket in twin room. Poor WiFi.

Location was good for what we needed

When we entered property we noticed one off dining room chairs were coming apart at the back ,when we went to use down stairs shower next morning shower tray filled up quickly and nearly flooded floor water took ages to go away hence upstairs shower was really the only one to use. We went to use airier to hang our towels on after shower to discover it only had 3 legs ,when we went to use washing machine there was still water in it ,so we wondered if there is a problem with drainage. Property location good but badly needs updating. Would not recommend to young family’s due to steep stairs and no gate at top for young ones especially as sitting room is upstairs.but view from sitting room fabulous.
