Quite enjoyed the location and the short offroad section leading up to the house, there always seemed to be game and horses along the fence. The house is very well designed for the adventurous soul. I enjoyed the evening silence and the distant farm animal sounds of chicken and cows in the morning. There are remote gate keys provided for if you had a late event then you don't have to phone to open. I liked the smart home setup with the lights.

I realized too late there was a gas geyser for the shower, so I had an ice cold and boiling hot shower combo. Just a reminder for future travelers to adjust it before heading in. I was too lazy to go out to change the temp, if it had the option.

From start to finish, this was easily one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. The host was absolutely exceptional—professional, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. Communication was seamless the entire time. Even when the area experienced some power issues, he kept me fully informed and reassured, and thanks to the solar setup, I barely even noticed anything was going on. That level of preparedness and transparency really stood out. The space itself was spotless, peaceful, and exactly what I needed. It had a calm, restful atmosphere that made it easy to unwind, and everything was maintained to a very high standard. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping the place comfortable and welcoming. What I appreciated most was how the host struck the perfect balance—always available when needed, but never intrusive. No unnecessary check-ins or interruptions, just a smooth, well-managed stay from someone who clearly knows what they’re doing. Honestly, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly, highly recommended.

Amazingly quiet atmosphere with braai facilities, stunning little home equipped with everything a couple would need, the bed is upstairs which is perfect, Best sleep I had in years. The braai with my wife was amazing, couldn't hear anything except for sizzling meat and nature. My Wife said it was the best staycation/ getaway in a long time

Interesting building. Lots of fire wood and nice braai and very comfortable bed. Also very private and has an in-the-bush feel. Nice atmosphere.

The place is very cramped and not well stocked. There are no pans or pots for self catering. The stairs to the loft bedroom is dangerouse and not suitable for someone who goes to the loo at night. You cant even sit up straight in the bed as the ceiling is so low and there is no bedside tables, just a bed on the floor. The shower door leaks like crazy and wets the whole bathroom floor. When we woke up in the moring there was thin feacies of a rat or something, on the staircase. The false accusations the host throws at you tops the list.
