Stay at a premium duplex - Notting Hill-3rd floor

Overall a good stay. Wouldn’t necessarily call it premium but quite good space and the amenities are newer. Water pressure in shower is good. Bed is on the softer side and smaller. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Laundry room has plenty of washers and dryers so can do multiple loads at once. Good location close to shops and plenty of supermarkets nearby.

No air conditioning with one fan so can get quite hot in summer - especially on the upper floor. As everyone has mentioned, flat is on the third floor with no elevator. Quite a hike up with big bags. Also laundry room is in the basement and not in unit.

The studio is located close to 2 underground stations in a quiet side street. Portobello Road is just a short walk away. The studio is convenient to accommodate 2 persons. The building site behind it was not disturbing as daily works finished by the time we arrived back in the evenings. The host replied promptly to messages. The access was properly explained so we could enter with the code without any problem.

Although mid-May, it was chilly outside during the night, and the bedroom was rather cold. I believe, the heating season was over already. Kitchen utensils are basic but we did not plan any cooking. The studio is located on the 3rd floor so there are quite some stairs to climb. It was not a problem for us but might be an issue for persons with reduced mobility.

Very modern, near the tube, great facilities to cook, typical toiletries provided and comfortable bed! The apartment is tiny but is 2 floors.
