Holidays in a listed building combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the "Ferien im Baudenkmal" foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005. Persons: 4-8 (plus one child up to 2 years). Outdoor area: A seating area in the garden, part of the garden is available to guests, the rest of the garden is private. We ask you to use it with great consideration for the existing building fabric. The tenant is aware of this and treats the property with care. The Grande Salle is part of the flat and may be entered. However, guests are requested not to eat or drink in it and not to use the historic furniture (secretary, armchair and table). Although the house is technically equipped to modern standards, certain functional details are not in line with today's habits. The house is not barrier-free.
