The nearest bus stop is just 3 minutes away. All important shopping facilities are also within walking distance. You can store your winter sports equipment in the ski cellar; a lockable bicycle cellar is available free of charge for your high-quality bikes. The cosy and modern furnished holiday flat has a balcony where you can enjoy breakfast with the family and soak up some sun in the summer months. The large living area with a comfortable sofa and dining table is ideal for games evenings. In winter, you can round off a day in the snow here with a glass of wine. Braunlage has a cosy town centre with various shops and restaurants ranging from a snack bar to a lounge bar. Added to this is the wonderful location in the middle of the Harz National Park, which promises you a varied holiday with hikes, cycle tours, mountain biking and many excursions into nature. For example, the Wurmberg is ideal for hiking. The path to the summit winds its way through the forest at a leisurely incline and offers spectacular views of Braunlage and the neighbouring Brocken. Of course, you can also take the cable car up and down. Don't miss a nostalgic ride on the narrow-gauge railway up the Brocken, the nearest station is in Schierke, around ten kilometres away. There, the Brocken Coaster also invites you to enjoy adventurous descents. Cultural highlights include a visit to the Rübeländer stalactite caves and a tour of the Königshütte mine.
