You'll find architecture ranging from thatched cottages to turn-of-the-century seaside villas and fishermen's cottages, as you wander through the evocatively-named streets, lanes and caves, taking you on a journey through history and time in the spirit of Maupassant and Victor Hugo. The Veules, the smallest river in France at just 1,149 metres long, is also worth a visit: listen to the sound of the water in the mill wheels, stroll along the paths lining the Veules, discover the watercress at the source, choose your seafood when the fishermen return, enjoy the fine sandy beach at low tide, the spray from the pier and the panoramic view of the cliffs, and take advantage of the seafront, with its outdoor swimming pool and children's play area. Our 6-person Atelier Veulais, located 400 metres from the historic centre of Veules les Roses, will be an asset for the whole family.
