Let's introduce it:
THE LOCATION – The house is 2 hours from Paris, 45 minutes from Rouen, 40 minutes from Dieppe, 20 minutes from Fécamp, 15 minutes from Veulettes-sur-Mer and 7 minutes from Cany-Barville, where you will find all shops and amenities — in a hamlet, 1 km from the center of Grainville-la-Teinturière, a village of 1,650 inhabitants in the Pays-de-Caux region.
The road is slightly elevated in relation to the Durdent, between fields, meadows and forests; a dozen houses over a distance of 1 km. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful; green is the predominant colour.
THE HOUSE – The elongated farmhouse has 100 m². On the first floor there is a large, cozy living room, just the way you like it. The fireplace with insert works perfectly; Wifi is available, as well as a TV. Some reading material is also available for you.
The kitchen is fully equipped (both a coffee machine for ground coffee and an Italian espresso machine). The bathroom has a large shower. Separate toilet.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms: one of about 20 m², the other of 14 m², both with light from two sides. The first room has a double bed with enough space to add a travel cot if necessary. The second room has two single beds that can be joined together to form a large bed, plus a toddler bed without bars.
A comfortable double air mattress can complement the sleeping options, either on the upstairs landing or in the living room.
OUTSIDE – A large garden of about 2,000 m² offers a wide view. It is partially fenced with fences, hedges and two steep slopes that are difficult to climb. An adventurous dog could be tempted by the slope on the other side of the outbuilding.
Two terraces (one small and one large): the small one has two small tables, the large one a large table with a large parasol. Feel like doing nothing? Sun loungers and fatboys await you. A barbecue is also available.
FOR THE KIDS – As this is a house in which Ana grows up, there are plenty of toys available.
On the small lawn next to the terrace, there is a swing and a slide.
A changing table and a baby bath are provided in the bathroom, as well as a booster and a learning tower. The stairs can be closed at the top and bottom with two stair gates.
A point of attention if you have young children: a water collection basin dominates the paved courtyard.
ACTIVITIES – The sea is 15 minutes away; 7 minutes from the leisure area around Lake Caniel; the golf course "Golf aux Daims" on the Alabaster Coast at 15 minutes; the "Route du lin" cycle path is only 600 meters from the house; and many other suggestions for the area can be found in the welcome booklet.
