The rooms are tastefully done up - from the tiles used to the plumbing. Nice touches abound with vases and plants and flowers from the surrounding gardens . Food was on the spot - using local produce and local cooks. The farm tour was a nice touch. Lots to do , see and learn for kids. The property is extremely pet friendly so dont hesitate to get along your cat or dog.
All in all the greenery , the peace and quite and the facilities combined with the owners personal touch are a hard combination to beat
Internet is a bit patchy although its being remedied. Till then carry a book or download the podcasts you wanted to catch up on .

Such a serene farm stay. The kids thoroughly enjoyed especially roasting marshmallows n plucking veggies. After reaching home, the kids wanted to know when we going next to Green Roots Farm.

The quaintness, the warmth and the feeling of cozy comfort, hits you the moment you walk into this place.
I had an amazing time with my daughter. We disconnected from the city and there was so much the place had to offer. We plucked veggies, planted trees, petted cows, collected fresh eggs, went for treks and sat and talked around camp fires.
The space is designed for luxurious comfort, but like their food, there is a back story to many small things that feature in the rooms. Subtle inspiration from Indian culture, art and craft.
Now on the matter of the stomach. Food cooked by them is an interesting mix of Indian cuisines. They are passionate about bringing authentic recipes to the plate.
If you are looking for a relaxed de-tox destination close to Mumbai, this is the place to go.

Green roots farm is by far one of the best staycation destination we have have visited. The rooms so thoughtfully decorated. Each and every corner of the room was innovatively planned. Cleanliness absolutely A grade.
The gardens are well maintained and beautiful and they have a warm personal touch.
The staff so welcoming and food yummilicious.
Overall an amazing experience!!
