Hard bed downstairs. Not sufficient plates, glasses etc for four people, or 6 people.

Location was great, house very clean and tidy, the rooms were a great size with comfy bed. The house has awesome views over the hills and upper harbour. Being a dog friend property was a huge advantage, and our fury baby could join us. Bathrooms were excellent. Sharlene was an excellent host and responded quickly to questions. Would recommend stay here.

Location was excellent
View was perfect
Bed (king size on top floor was comfy) and excellent.
Air Conditioning was excellent.
Dog friendly. 100% the reason why we stayed was because this was dog friendly and we were doing a road trip of north island. It's great that hosts allow this and it's very much appreciated. Sharlene was awesome in the one issue we had when we arrived on deck and responded very quickly. Because of these main points we would recommend to others.
What would of made our stay that little bit better - The layout of the main room family room and having the dining table near kitchen and having the couch near the tv. This would dramatically improve the comfort of the area. The house has a few odd quirks with power cords draped over walls etc, and this could be very easily fixed - along with touch ups of walls etc. Balcony door couldn't' open, maybe a seat and table in courtyard or balcony would be welcomed so guests could enjoy outside sitting.

Location was great for the ferry. We booked it as its pet friendly, although we didnt end up bringing our dog. The bathrooms and master bedroom where lovley and clean. The communication and check in where great and very fast replies. Great views of the water.
There was no milk, tea or coffee. The shops where only a short drive away. It would have been really good to have the basics. Its great that pets are welcome but the downstairs bedrooms and lounge smelled of cats. It was fine for a short stay and did what we needed for the night.
