Vineyard Views at Grillano Castle

This country inn is located in Ovada (municipality of Grillano) and is part of the Grillano Castle, which has belonged to the Torello Rovereto family for four generations. The castle is situated in the hills of Piedmont (about 200 m above sea level) and is surrounded by vineyards. The castle has a terrace that offers a splendid panoramic view of the hills and vineyards. The terrace is equipped with tables and chairs: here you can enjoy a snack during an aperitif. The nearest grocery shop is about 1000 metres away, while restaurants and other shops can be found in Ovada, about 2000 metres away. The family-run farm is dedicated to viticulture (Dolcetto, Barbera, Cortese and Chardonnay) and winemaking according to ancient traditions. Only organically grown grapes are used to produce the wine. The careful control of each production phase guarantees a high quality standard. On request it is possible to taste the wines produced on site and visit the cellar and vineyard.
