Haus am Hafen
Here you will find an attractive new build in the harbour village of Zerpenschleuse, north of Berlin, not far from the Werbellinsee lake, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the Schorfheide biosphere reserve, right next to the sports boat harbour. The property borders on the Oder-Havel Canal, so you can enjoy a relaxing holiday surrounded by extensive meadows with day trips to numerous leisure and recreational facilities in the surrounding area.
The terrace in front of the house is equipped with garden furniture and a garden shed. Use the barbecue for an outdoor meal. There is a jetty right next to the house, which you are welcome to use on request. Thanks to its location right next to the marina, you always have a view of the water and have the canal and the Zerpenschleuse right on your doorstep.
The new building, which was completed in 2017, boasts comfortable furnishings in a modern style. However, cosiness is not neglected - the rooms are fully clad with light-stained wooden panels and the exposed supporting beams exude a very homely charm. In addition, a pleasant amount of daylight enters the living areas through the large windows. The house extends over a living area of 70 m² and is divided into a ground floor and an upper floor with a gallery. On the lower level, you sleep in a double room with a 180 cm x 200 cm double bed with two comfortable mattresses. Two bedside tables with lamps on either side of the bed and a three-door wardrobe round off the furnishings. The day begins in the spacious bathroom opposite. This is equipped with a wellness shower with rain shower and hydromassage jets, an illuminated mirror, wash hand basin, WC and bathroom window. The centrepiece of the house is the open-plan living, dining and cooking area, into which the staircase to the upper floor is also integrated. Here you can relax on a two-seater and an armchair after a day out. Alternatively, a spacious lounge area on the semi-open gallery is also an inviting option. Here you have a view of the greenery and a row of trees. A television provides entertainment in the evening. The dining table with four comfortable swivel chairs next to the wood-burning stove invites you to enjoy a home-cooked meal. The open-plan kitchen behind it allows you to prepare your own meals conveniently and extensively using an induction hob with extractor bonnet, a high oven, a fridge-freezer combination, a dishwasher, numerous cooking utensils and the usual small electrical appliances. The second bedroom is also located on the upper floor and is furnished with two single beds measuring 90 cm x 200 cm. The entire interior is centrally heated and a washing machine and iron complete the equipment.
In the immediate vicinity, a rest stop on the canal, as well as cafés and boutiques in the village of Zerpenschleuse await your visit within a radius of approx. one kilometre. The Bernsteinsee lake in Ruhlsdorf (approx. 6 km) is ideal for swimming. The marvellous sandy beach makes for great swimming fun. A little more action is also guaranteed at the water ski centre, where wakeboarding and water skiing are possible and corresponding courses are offered. The Prenden golf course, which is only 15 minutes away by car, offers a change from water sports. In addition to active recreation, the nearby town of Wandlitz (13 km) with its cultural attractions is a popular destination for those seeking relaxation. Berlin is also only 50 km away and can be reached by public transport in just over an hour.
