Gelting is a recognised Kneipp health resort with shopping facilities, doctors, pharmacies and sights. It is 2 km from the holiday home to Gelting, which can be easily reached by bike on cycle paths. Not far away are Kappeln, Glücksburg (Glücksburg moated castle) and Flensburg (museum harbour). The holiday home is built of wood and has panoramic windows and wood-panelled interior walls/roof slopes. The floor is made of oiled floorboards. The furnishings are cosy.
