Just a stone’s throw from the Baltic Sea and nestled in the Geltinger Bucht scenic conservation area, the Fischerkate invites you on a little journey back in time to the former fishingvillage of Wackerballig. This lovingly renovated vacation home, with approximately 70 m² of living space, combines authentic charm with modern comfort and is ideal for a relaxing family vacation.
Amenities & Highlights
The sunny terrace with an adjoining garden offers the perfect spot for breakfast outdoors or relaxing barbecue evenings.
The bright, open-concept kitchen is equipped with high-quality appliances and is perfect for cooking together.
The fully fenced-in garden ensures safety—ideal for children and pets.
In the stylish living and dining area, a rustic wooden table, a tiled stove, and underfloor heating throughout the entire first floor create a particularly cozy atmosphere.
An additional stove in the living area makes the Fischerkate a cozy retreat even during the cooler months.
Sleeping Arrangements
The bedroom in the attic features exposed beams and a view of the protected landscape area.
A lovingly designed children’s room on the first floor, featuring a bunk bed and a play cabinet, offers little adventurers their own special place.
The living room also features a cozy sleeper sofa for two additional guests.
Bathroom
The spacious bathroom in the attic is equipped with a glass rainforest shower and provides a true spa experience.
A private parking space right next to the house rounds out the amenities.
Note about the Fischerkate Vacation Home
The Fischerkate is part of a lovingly designed duplex. As seen from the street, there is another vacation home at the rear of the property. Both homes have their own private gardens, so you can enjoy your time outdoors in complete privacy. This layout creates a peaceful, pleasant vacation atmosphere with a neighborhood feel.
Booking Information
During the high and shoulder seasons, the vacation home can be booked on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday—ideal for a relaxing getaway by the sea.
Shorter stays are also possible during the off-season. Please feel free to contact us regarding custom travel dates—together we’ll find the right solution.
