Receiption was not operating due to renovation.
Code to enter the property could be sent upfront instead you are on the entrance at 16:30 and calling to get your codes after a tiring journey.

Location and price was good for us. We just needed a bed for the nights we were in Dalkeith.
Communication could have been better. I had to ask for a receipt for my payment and this took some time to arrive by email.
Telephone manner needs work but person we spoke to was helpful.

Clean and secure rooms
Heating on a timer so room really cold in the mornings. The pub next door has live music on a Friday night which was quite noisy and also people leaving the pub made a noise.
