Cabin Lodge

There was no television and only three towels for four guests and the dishwashers was broken. The grounds were also shabby

Big unit with plenty of space. Clean and comfortable. Near the city and the lake, wonderful location

The site suited our needs

TV nonfunctional, mirror not hung and just sitting in the cupboard, leaky taps

Room was as described and was able to check in independently after arriving later than expected.

Biggest bother was the hot water not working. It's partly on us for not reporting it as soon as we found it (we found out around 10/11pm in the night and didn't want to bother reception). Unable to shower etc... One of the electric blankets on the queen bed didn't work, which isn't an ideal given it was a cold night. Washing machines didn't work unfortunately, ate my coins (and were given them back by a facility manager) and just wouldn't work, so had to do laundry at a laundromat in town which was 15min one way. For a 300ish NZD booking for a night, the price didn't seem reasonable for the quality of the facilities. Not sure how the local rates/extra deductions etc... affect the cost of running this facility, but the utility was much lower than at other places we stayed the same week and for a higher price.
