Casa EMILIO

First of all, hosts. They we're great, and even if we didn't meet the owner as she was away, she did call us couple of times, texted us, advised us places to go, restaurants to visit, and was going beyond to make our stay great. It was a long time when someone was really going that extra mile to please us, as guests, this way. We arrived very late, but regardless to that, we have been welcomed by owners son, that explained us everything and was able to help at any time. That was really great and deserved top notes. The house itself was very good. All was there, very clean, comfy beds, heating, terrace on the ground floor and one on the roof of the house. Breakfast eaten on the terrace, perfect, you know yourself. Kitchen fully equipped, very home kind of way, you can feel that someone was or is living there as place is more like someone's actual home then a rental place. Area is very quiet and safe, and people very welcoming, we spent every evening in a different restaurants and all of them were great, very family orientated and with a perfect cuisine. When you going to add Montserrat mountains and monastery that is just at your doorstep, you have a perfect place to stay.

Parking. There are places to park but you need to walk about 5 minutes to it ( look for Carrer Garigues street, it took me some time to find a good and free parking there ). To find a parking place outside the house is not possible as there is no parking allowed on this street where the house is located, and nearby parking places are always packed.

A pesar de que aparcar està un poco complicado, a 3 minutos tienes varios parkings de zona azul y a 5 minutos tienes el de la plaça Catalunya. Por tanto, no tienes que preocuparte por esto. Por la noche, la eficaz calefacción fue un extra maravilloso. Por la noche no se escuchaba NADA. El descanso está asegurado. Si quieres tomarte un vermut, la terraza de la casa proporciona un espacio increíble. La dueña es una maravilla de señora. Te ayuda con todo lo que necesites y además se interesa por tu bienestar durante tu estancia. Estoy muy agradecido.

Sinceramente no hubo nada que no me gustara.
