Mokotowska Apartment near US Embassy by Mia

I had a good stay here. The apartment was clean, well equipped, and in a good location, with restaurants and cafes nearby, and access to buses and trams. The bed was comfortable (though the bedding needs to be upgraded, especially the scratchy pillowcases), the shower, washer, and kitchen appliances worked well, and the living room was comfortable for hanging out. There is a ton of wardrobe space. There was only a drip coffee pot, and only enough coffee for 2 days though I was staying for 4 nights.

I did have a problem at check-in that needs mentioning. The code at the keypad does not open the door. When you type it in, the display changes to that of the door opening, but physically, it will not open. The back up is a chip in a lock box which sits on the ground in the bike parking area. The photo they sent shows just a couple of bikes, but in reality, it was very crowded. It happened to be raining, and I found myself sitting on the ground, pulling two bikes apart so that I could find it and retrieve the chip. I tried the keypad every day, but it never worked. This issue was described in their introductory email as “occasional“ but it was mentioned by a previous reviewer, so I’m guessing it is not truly occasional. Confusing the issue even more, their email said the door, in an outdoor courtyard with many doors, would say “staircase 2” when in reality it says “Klatka II”. They need to improve the check-in procedure all the way round.

This place is absolutely perfect! The location is ideal, especially with the US embassy nearby for my visa application. It's in a fantastic part of the city with tons of venues around. The apartment itself is spacious with high ceilings, which I love! They've thought of everything, from kitchen appliances to laundry detergent – I never found myself needing something that wasn't already there. I adore the room's style and overall vibe. The bed is super comfy with lovely, smooth linen, and the bathroom is huge, especially the vanity. My absolute favorite was the drip coffee machine and the delicious coffee that came with it! 🤩

Minor door incident at the building entrance, but it didn't affect my stay.
