* The laundry below made noises as we expected. The noises weren’t too loud from the bedroom and the noise level was fine for sleeping. It made it nice and cheap. * The train station is quite close as advertised. The train station is quite big for a local one, with a McDonald’s and Family Mart, as well as other shops. It’s about an 8 minute walk from the accommodation. Lawson’s is a 3 minute walk just around the corner, which was convenient for getting food and drinks. * The air-conditioner worked well, just press the blue button on the top left once for cooling. * I was impressed with how clean the accomodation was. We stayed at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel just before this and it had spots of mould in the shower and dust on the floorboards. The accommodation was really really clean. * We were happy with the separate bedroom, kitchenette, wet room, and toilet. My travel buddy likes to sleep in so it was convenient to just shut the door and have space in the kitchenette to get prepared for the day. * Lots of amenities provided - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap. Has all the amenities that a hotel would have, and more! * The sleeping arrangements were two futon style bunk beds (single) and a mattress bed with wooden frame (single). I thought it would be great for a 3-person family to stay here. * We booked because we thought it would be super convenient to have a laundry room right below us. It was summer when we booked (July, August) so super hot, humid, and sweaty days exploring Tokyo. It was super convenient to just step out of the accommodation and open the door to the laundromat. 300 yen to operate the washing machine and 100 yen to use the dryer. Super cheap, super easy! * There is a water heater you can set to your desired temperature in degrees Celsius. Just make sure to turn it on before having a shower/bath. * I’ve included a photo of the three locks at the front door which was great for helping us feel safe a long way from home.

* First impression while walking to the location, it was quite dark and my suitcase rattled along the road. I was worried it would wake up the locals as we arrived to the house late in the night. * The room needs block out blinds, the sun comes in really easily and woke us both up quite early. Block out blinds would help with keeping the room cool as well. There are only two wood shutter blinds on two of the windows, and they let the sun in easily. * The accommodation has narrow stairs to get up to it as soon as you unlock and open the door, so it would be hard to get large suitcases in there. We were happy with the amount of space, and I could get my suitcase up fine. * It is an Airbnb style apartment so the host expects you to clean the apartment 30 minutes before the end of your stay. You are also expected to sort your trash as is the custom for Japanese homes. If you have trash that does not fit the requirements, the host asks you to take it away with you. * Since it is an Airbnb style apartment, there is no front desk either, so you cannot send any packages or luggage to the apartment prior to your stay - this means we were not able to use a luggage transfer service and had to carry our own luggage to and from the apartment. * There is only one bath towel and one hand towel provided each. We stayed for 3 nights so thought more might’ve been nice.

バスルームに椅子がなく、お風呂の自動・追いだき機能などがないため自分で溜める形になります。キッチンは2人でぴったりくらいな量の設備でした。

The facilities were complete. Refrigerator, induction stove, microwave, electric kettle, TV , free WiFi, private room and bath.

The garbage box outside the door keeps getting filled up. Probably some locals are putting their trash in.
