La struttura ha una posizione eccellente…. Bisognerebbe sostituire gli infissi delle stanze che si affacciano sulla strada principale… troppo rumore e poi pensare al riscaldamento o raffreddamento nei mesi invernali o estivi

Rumorosità e riscaldamento

The location is excellent, close to the pedestrian areas. It’s very easy to get anywhere from there. The apartment was clean. The person I communicated with in writing was very cooperative and kind. On the other hand, the person who gave us the keys at check-in was quite arrogant.

The room was very noisy. Not only in the morning or evening, but also during the night. There is a very steep staircase to climb to get into the apartment. For many people this could be a problem, especially if you also have luggage. The stairs are very narrow and steep. It was very cold. We needed to wear our outdoor clothing just to be able to stay in the apartment. Even though it was March, it was colder inside the apartment than outside. It was given an electric radiator, but it couldn’t cope. The temperature was still low even with it on.

The location was outstanding. This apartment is close to all major attractions of Lisbon's city centre. The metro is 100m away. The tram to Belem as well. There is a supermarket (Continente) just a short walk away. 10/10 location!

As others have said, there's a huge set of stairs to climb. It didn't bother me much but travellers with reduce mobility would struggle big time. Also the apartment was pretty noisy and cold. I understand this is a central location and all but perhaps double glazed windows could be used to try to keep noises outside. There was an extra blanket in the apartment and an electric heater that was not working (or at least I didn't manage to switch on). But we had to sleep with jumpers. In the wooden wardrobe of the main bedroom I found mould on the door. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were not. The sofa bed in the living room is not comfortable when is fully opened and would not be suitable for more than 1 child. The shower was great and hot, although no soap or shampoo was provided. There's a washing machine beside the toilet which makes a bit uncomfortable to use the toilet when doing a numero 2! For me it's all about the small things and details that could make this place an ideal accomodation and perhaps the owners should consider this to attract better reviews. There's so much potential there.
