As with any Scholar apartment, In this one bedroom/one bathroom apartment you’ll find a thoughtfully designed space complete with beautiful furniture, custom art work, full kitchen, laundry, great views from your private balcony, all located less then a mile away from the Swamp, O-Dome, and the UF Medical Campus! And, thanks to our superior quality queen mattresses, luxury linens, pull out sofa bed and towels, you can relax knowing your party of four will always feel comfortable at home.

Being centrally located, you will have plenty of Uber, Lyft, and more transportation services available to use to explore Gainesville. Scholar Gainesville is centrally located within a mile of The Swamp, O'Connell Center, UHealth/Shands/VA Campus and the UF Campus. The #13 Bus Route is located right outside your door which takes you to the Reitz Union.

Check-in Age: Guests must be at least 21 years of age to check in. Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are daily between 10PM - 7AM. Please be respectful to your fellow travelers and keep noise to appropriate levels. Repeated violations of this policy will result in a fee of up to $500 USD and possible removal from the premises without refund. Pool (Heated) Hours: Daily 10AM - 7PM all year round. To ensure that rooms stay fresh and clean, we will ask for a $100.00 non-refundable cleaning fee (payable the first night of your stay). Smoking Fee: We are a 100% non-smoking hotel. We have a strict no smoking policy that includes your unit, patios and common guest areas. Guests will be subject to fines up to $500 if there is any evidence of smoking inside the unit. Limited Housekeeping Service: Our team maintains a high standard and will do its best to address your cleanliness needs. Please expect our team to only clean the room before check-in and after check-out during your stay. Any additional cleanings are at request/ based on availability and may incur additional cleaning fee. For stays over 30 days, we require additional personal information and a signed License Agreement in order to accommodate the stay. All guests will be required to verify their information which includes a 3rd-party background check. This is to ensure your safety as well as the safety and well-being of our neighbors and our homes. All information is confidential and will not be shared with anyone for any purposes outside of your reservation. Once all information is verified, we will be able to confirm your reservation. However, we reserve the right to cancel a reservation if you fail to comply or there is a failed background check. Please be aware that an additional deposit of up to $500 per reservation will be held during the period of your stay and released back within 7 days after check-out to cover any incidentals that may occur at the property. Just like the pictures show. It was clean, convenient, and safe. It was exactly a mile from my daughter's dorm at UF. The property owner was extremely responsive. My husband left his wedding band in the apartment. I received a call that same day to tell me they found the ring and had it in a safe. I was very grateful and impressed!

I enjoyed my stay here. The unit looks exactly like the pictures and felt inviting and comfortable. I enjoyed the gym on the first floor of the building as well. The kitchen had most of the cooking tools you would want and had nice storage in the cabinets. It would be nice if you could add a toaster to the appliances available. I appreciated the keurig coffee maker in the unit.
I found the location to be convenient for accessing various attractions around the UF campus. I especially loved going to Depot Park - awesome food trucks, beautiful spaces to walk and read.
I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here Sept 2021 and were amazed when we opened the electronic door- it is brand new! The unit is on the top floor and quiet- only the units facing the interior parking lot are quiet, the other side faces a busy street. Everything was in order and the assigned parking space (for one car) was perfect. Unit is sized for a couple though can sleep 4.
