This place was decent for the price. The kitchen was well stocked and my family enjoyed playing pool and sitting in the sauna when we werent touring the beach or downtown. It was fully fenced and safe for my doggo. The only downfall was no air conditioning and thin walls/curtains separate the sleeping areas. Very nostalgic and cozy.

Overall we and our dog (Iceland-Yoshi) enjoyed the stay. The beach and the Rockaway Big Tree trailhead were not further than a 5 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk, of course). We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings, and took advantage of a couple of the old arcade games and a pool table located downstairs in our “bar”. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with everything one needs for cooking.

We stayed at the home a couple years ago and really enjoyed it. It was perfect for us and our two pups. This time around, the peoperty was in greater disrepair. There were cobwebs everywhere inside the home, two broken lamps upstairs and the fence and hanging vines were fallen over, leaving a huge gap for our pups to get out of the yard. We ended up purchasing chicken wire and poles to fix the fence ourselves. It was disappointing. We left a day early. Vacasa was wonderful to communicate with and we were happy about their responsiveness. We won't be returning to this property.
