The Space:
A wonderful blend of quiet and convenient, this creekside home just north of Rockaway Beach will place you five blocks from soft sand, the Pacific Ocean, and the mouth of the Nehalem River.
This two-level home, located in the community of Nedonna Beach, was designed to encourage relaxation. Enter into a comfortable, carpeted family room with a game table and a flatscreen TV (one of five in the house), and continue down the hallway to the open great room. There's an even larger flatscreen TV mounted above the gas fireplace in the living room, a farm-style dining room table, and a fully appointed kitchen with every essential appliance (including a dishwasher) and a peninsula bar counter for four. Glass doors lead outside to a back deck overlooking the neighboring creek and green space, where you can barbecue and dine in the fragrant coastal air.
At night, there's a washer/dryer to take care of the day's swimsuits, a firepit out front where you can gather for s'mores, a dedicated playroom with children's toys upstairs, and Wii, Nintendo, and Netflix for your at-home entertainment. One of the bedrooms - the main suite with a large private bathroom - is on the first floor; the other three bedrooms are located upstairs.

You'll be a five-block walk from the ocean beach itself, which also happens to be the spot where the Nehalem River meets the Pacific Ocean. We enjoyed the cleanliness when we arrived and location to the beach. The beds were comfortable too. But there were some issues that we let vacasa know about. Mainly some hardware needing tightened, poor drainage in the bathrooms, spotty internet (which is fine if you’re disconnecting, not good if you are needing to work or communicate with coworkers) and there wasn’t enough silverware for the number of people the home sleeps. Also- bring your own coffee filters! Nice home in a safe neighborhood though.

Very cool house! It was much closer to the beach than I remember noticing in the listing result. Right across the street actually! The beds and furniture were comfortable. THE GAME ROOMS!!! The game rooms were bad@@s! Arcades upstairs and more physical games downstairs. We spent a good amount of time and fun on the air hockey table. The foosball table is pro level. But it was so dirty that the ball would often get stuck on the sides and the handles were sticky too. We thoroughly scrubed the handles and wiped down the table, and after that was done, the table performed phenomenally! We spent most the weekend playing games!
