About this house rental
Enjoy absolute tranquility in the heart of the Marais Poitevin, just 30 minutes from the ocean’s beaches and the majestic Vendée forests.
This cottage, located in a protected Natura 2000 area, sits on 2 hectares between woods and canals. Le Bas Marais is nestled in the southern Vendée’s Marais Poitevin.
Accommodating up to 5 guests, the bright gîte features large glass doors opening onto the garden and canal. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, and microwave, and opens to a living room with TV. There’s one bedroom with a double bed and another with bunk beds (double below, single above), plus a spacious bathroom.
Each cottage is semi-detached and offers a private garden separated by shrubs, a terrace, barbecue, garden furniture, and sun loungers facing the canal.
The heated, secure pool is open from mid-May to late September (weather permitting), from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Set off from your cottage for a boat ride on the Hollandais canal.
Outdoor games include football, badminton, ping-pong, volleyball, darts, swings, slide, and Molkky.
Bikes for all ages are available.
Fishing enthusiasts are welcome—please bring your own gear.
