About this apartment rental
The Space
The Loft is the most personal space in the Black Pearl on Dyes Inlet collection — and for a certain kind of guest, the most beloved. Situated above the detached garage with its own private entrance at ground level, The Loft occupies its own quiet level above the activity of the grounds. A full kitchen makes longer stays effortless. The plush king bedroom is calm and unhurried. A sofa sleeper in the living room accommodates additional guests. Smart TV and fast WiFi throughout. And everywhere you look, original paintings by Joel DeTray fill the walls — Pacific Northwest originals chosen for this space, not prints from a catalog. Guests who love art book The Loft specifically. Guests who didn't know they loved art leave talking about it. Glance upward through the trees and you'll see The Perch in the canopy above. Look toward the water and you're a direct path away from the beach.

Outside
The Loft opens onto a large grassy yard — perfect for a quiet morning, an afternoon with a book, or a quick game on the adjacent pickleball court. A garden path leads through beautifully landscaped grounds down to the beach access stairs shared with The Waterwheel. Please note the stairs to the beach are steep — use caution heading down. Once at the water you'll find kayaks, paddleboards, a beachside BBQ grill, and outdoor seating. We're happy to build a beachside fire — just let us know.

The Art
Joel DeTray's work defines the atmosphere of The Loft more than any other unit in the collection. The paintings were chosen with this room in mind — colors, scale, and subject that bring the Pacific Northwest inside from the moment you walk through the door.
Wildlife
You may spot bald eagles, great blue herons, river otters, harbor seals, sea lions, deer, and on rare and magical occasions, orcas passing through Dyes Inlet.
Location
Black Pearl on Dyes Inlet is tucked into the peaceful neighborhood of Chico in Bremerton, WA — surrounded by tall trees and lush greenery, steps from the shores of Dyes Inlet. The Washington State ferry terminal is 7.4 miles away, making Seattle a quick and scenic trip across Puget Sound. Silverdale is 10 minutes for groceries, dining, and shopping. Bremerton and Poulsbo are both within easy reach. The Olympic Peninsula, Hood Canal, and Olympic National Park are all under an hour away. Parking is on-site.
Guest Access
Guests have full private access to The Loft via its own entrance above the detached garage — king bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, living room with sofa sleeper, and private outdoor space with designated parking directly outside the door. Other guests may be occupying other units on the property during your stay. All guests share access to the resort amenities: private gravel beach, private swimming dock, kayaks, paddleboards, beachside firepit, BBQ grill, multiple patios, pickleball court, and clamming beach. To book the entire compound exclusively — all four units, sleeps 22 — please contact us about full compound availability.
Other Things to Note

Pets — please inquire. The beach stairs are steep — please use caution. Life vests are always provided. We're happy to build a beachside fire — just ask.
