About this cottage rental
Adorable cottage located on Ostrich Bay with a beautiful view of the water and the Olympic mountains. The cottage is a quiet oasis with access to a beach and flagstone patio for watching blue heron, seals, and bald eagles, or just enjoying the sunset. Minutes to the Seattle ferry, Dickerson Waterfall, the Puget Sound Navel Shipyard, or day trip to Olympic National Park or Mt. Rainier!
The space
The quiet and secluded cottage is cozy (516 square feet) with a bedroom, kitchen, LR and full bathroom, along with a spacious (water view) covered porch that expands the living space. The bedroom has a queen bed; the second bed is queen size pull out sofa bed. Guests especially enjoy the covered porch, and waterfront patio and beach. Please note the cottage is not handicap accessible and the patio requires walking down 26 steep concrete steps. There is a carport with one space for parking.. Please inquire if second space needed.

The standalone cottage is your own private residence. The beachside patio is for the exclusive use of cottage guests and your hosts, who live in the second home on the same property. We provide beach towels for your use, and 3 bicycles (1 adult male, and 2 24 inch "large child/small adult" size).
Other things to note
Please note that we can accommodate only dogs that weigh less than 25 pounds, and require an additional pet cleaning fee. Dogs must be 2 years or older and spayed if female. NO SMOKING OR VAPING on premises please. No unauthorized overnight guests in cottage or in camper/tent

Cottage on oyster bay was very clean with a view of the bay from the front porch. Hosts Joan and Charlie were very warm and welcoming and quick to answer any question or need we had. Thank you Joan and Charlie! Hope to visit again soon!
